Ronnie Irwin was selling cars for over 10 years at a Toyota dealership in 2008. The economy and car sales took a crash. Ronnie had been making jerky at home and selling it at work. Ronnie decided to quit his job and start a jerky business so that is what he did. He put a commercial kitchen in his garage and sold jerky retail at horse sales fairs, festivals, rodeos, flea markets, and anywhere he could to market it. Eventually he set his sights on USDA inspection which was expensive and grueling, he found a new building and finally got his USDA inspection in October of 2011.
The business has grown over the years to the point where he could not keep up with supply and demand. So Ronnie reached out to a larger company to assist in the process of making his jerky the same way he makes it. They use the same cut of meat and the same ingredients to make his jerky. Still made by hand in small batches to ensure you get the best beef jerky available. No nitrites, gluten free, high in protein, and low in calories.
